John S. Moman

John Moman, Principal/Founder of Moman Architects, has more than 30 years of professional experience throughout Texas. He fulfilled a lifelong dream in 2000 when he opened his own architectural firm, Moman Architects, and since then has spearheaded a number of noteworthy projects such as: Harris Street Offices, Dell Inc., City of Leander fire stations, Wyndham Hotels at Woodward, Oaks at Chandler Creek, Canyon Vista Condos and Citi Centre Round Rock.

A native Texan, Moman hails from Odessa, TX and is a graduate of Texas Tech where he received his degree in architecture. Moman moved to Round Rock in 1984 with his family and has been a proud and enthusiastic member of the community ever since.

Moman dedicates himself to civic and community service, serving on numerous boards and committees for the City of Round Rock including: the Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustments, the Southwest Area Downtown Planning Effort, as well as the Tree Planting Effort on IH-35. He has been an active member on the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and served as their Chairman from 1999-2000. During his tenure, he focused much of his efforts on community and educational issues. Moman was appointed to the Envision Central Texas Board in 2007 and was recently selected to serve on the Executive Committee, fulfilling his goal of regional involvement. Most recently, he has become involved with the highly-regarded organization, Habitat for Humanity by designing several new floor plans for the Habitat housing in Round Rock.

A man of incredible faith and family, Moman has been an active member of the Round Rock Church of Christ since 1984 and was a youth deacon for 17 years. Moman has been happily married to his wife, Toni for 32 years and is a devoted father and grandfather to their daughters, Joni and Alaina and grandchildren, David and Leilah.
